Lunar New Year is the time for get-togethers and feasting with family and friends. The Prosperity Yu Sheng is a must-have to kick-start the feast with a Prosperity Toss or 'Lo Hei' as it signifies an auspicious start to the Lunar New Year. Choose from the Norwegian Salmon Yusheng ($88+) or Sliced Boston Lobster Yusheng ($128+). Or pamper the palates with the Premium Yusheng ($138+), consisting of key ingredients such as sliced Boston Lobster specially imported from France and sliced Norwegian Salmon, and a variety of shredded vegetables and condiments including White Radish, Carrots, Green Radish, Pickled Ginger, Preserved Orange Peel, Candied Winter Melon, Red Cabbage, Crispy Fried Vermicelli, Pickled Cucumber, Preserved Leek, Crunchy Biscuit Crumbs, Sesame Seeds, Roasted Peanuts and Crispy Fish Skin.

The Bountiful Treasures Pen Cai is a perennial family favourite during Lunar New Year. This luscious pot of treasures is filled with delectable delicacies - Boston Lobster, Dried Scallops imported from Japan, Crispy Roast Pork Belly, Sea Cucumber, Roast Duck, Fish Maw, Chinese Mushrooms, Radish and Steamed Chicken, and slow-cooked in superior broth to perfection for 5 hours in a claypot. Available in 2 sizes - Medium ($138+) and Large ($188+).

 

  

 

Another highlight of our festive takeaways is the Steamed Emperor's Herbal Chicken with Chestnuts and Mushrooms ($58+; 1.8kg). Prepared using Executive Chef Murti's recipe, the Emperor's Chicken is stuffed with Red Dates, Chestnuts and Chinese Mushroom, then slow boiled in a bath filled with oyster sauce and herbs including Dang Gui, Anise Star, Gui Pi for 45 minutes. Covered in foils and steamed for another 3 hours, the flavourful chicken is ready to be brought home in a claypot.

The collagen-rich Braised Pork Knuckles with Baby Pak Choy ($68+; a pair) is another popular dish for takeaway and is ideal for a family of 4 to 6 persons. The pork knuckles are prepared overnight in a herbal concoction filled with Anise Star, Cinnamon Sticks, White Peppercorns, Ginger, Rock Sugar and Dried Chilli in a claypot and braised for another 2.5 hours before it is ready to be served.

 

    

 

Other tantalising festive takeaways include Roast Pork Belly with Mustard Sauce ($58+; 1kg), Roast Duck with Plum Sauce ($68+; 2.2kg),  and Braised Duck ($58+; 1.8kg).
